No, it's the other one. Kyouya Misturugi. You remeber him as the guy that got his sword stolen by Kazuma and sold. His English voice actor is the late Billy Kametz

What you mean? The main series was top tier. Peak comedy. Also... this is part of the main series since it is canon. There's also a movie that came after season 2 but before this season where all 4 of them went to Megumin's village. But yeah the series is a classic. The problem is whenever a story is carried by a specific group and then there's a volume or season when all the group is not in it except for 1 then it will feel lame in comparison.

Well, I watched Konosuba long ago, and I very much enjoyed it. However that might have been my fault, and not the shows achievement. I'd need to rewatch it to recheck if it's actually funny or not...

Nah that was definitely the show's achievement because I have seen a lot of anime prior to watching Konosuba and I still say its consistently the funniest one I've seen. Season 1 and even more in Season 2 as well as the movie. All classics. I'm currently still watching this Megumin story but given the bar the series set when it was Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin & Darkness together... yeah this season is kinda boring. Something like this is better done either at the very start of the story (simply tell us all the individual storylines first) or saved for after the whole show is done as bonus material. But folks who read the books say this is important for later on so...

Important or not, I'm dropping it.

The movie was a hit. I watched that recently. Maybe they should have used that as a whole season and make this the movie instead. Anyways. To be honest... now that I've watched all of it. Its not bad as a standalone anime season, actually good. Its just below par if we compare it to the main storyline.

This episode might be the weakest KonoSuba episode I can remember and probably the only one I wouldn't call a classic. I like that they showed the compassion and emotional connection between Megumin and Yunyun but still... it didn't have the usual KonoSuba-ism that I love to see in the episodes.
